OHH, yeah. Sometimes I'd go outside to get carts and they'd be running around the parking lot eating food here and there that people dump. I've seen lines of cars honking because they won't move.

Sea gulls are cool. We don't have very many right here as we are about 3 and a half hours from the coast. I see some from time to time on the lake near my house, but not many. At the college we went to about half an hour from here there were zillions at the little lake they had - but I'm sure it was because of all the kids feeding them. Here's one we saw at St. Augustine during our recent trip to Florida. He/she let me get real close because I think it thought I was digging for food when I was messing with my camera lol... Back on the weather subject - it's still warmer here, hopefully Spring is close. I can't wait to get the top off my Jeep

Stacey just bought a very nice little Mazda Miata for 1200 bucks. Runs excellent and has the optional top. That'll be good for the Summertime.
The seagull pictures reminded me of this guy. ;D

Ha! It even looks like the same seagull in my pictures. That would be a great commercial opportunity for Doritos.
Miata's are awesome! I almost bought a new one once. The only time in my life I almost got a new car. My Mom and Grandpa talked me into buying this old beat up Pontiac instead. That car left me in more places... I swear I got great exercise because of that thing.

The Miata may have been the better choice. I'd probably take a new Pontiac over a new Miata, though. I guess it depends on the Pontiac. Solstice?

On a side note, I saw an Animal Planet some years back on birds and it really goes in depth on how smart they really are. It's interesting.

I don't even remember it was just some old 1988 silver 4 door sedan that broke down every three yards. I think it may have been the classic Pontiac Lemon Jalopy. ;D After that experience I'd probably take a used Miata over a new one of those.

Wouldn't blame you. I've seen my Mom invest in so many Ford's and watched them all completely quit on her. I've seen it happen to a friend, too. He was a pizza delivery guy, on the clock and delivering pizzas when it happened. I prefer Chevy and Dodge to anything else.

I'm not loyal to any particular brand. I have had them all - it happens when you can only afford used cars. ;D I've had Fords that quit on me too. I do have an old Ford f150 that has outlasted everything so that gets some credit I guess. We had a Toyota that got nearly 40 mpg and never had anything wrong with it... until it got wrecked 3 or 4 times. (Only once was my fault) hehe...
Of course I do love my Jeep or I wouldn't have put a new engine in it when I got my disability - that took most of the money I was gonna use to travel around a bit on. Now I have to save up.
The weather has really changed here. We have had several lightning storms over the past couple days. I made a small video clip of one... I'll upload it to Youtube when I figure out how.

Haha. My dad just created a youtube account. He was at a race where Robbie Knievel crashed trying to jump 25 vans, I think it was. He filmed the whole thing. Robbie crashed right in front of him, flipped over the handle bars. Took him a while, but if he can figure it out, I'm sure you can.

That really had to hurt. That's your Dad's clip? It's pretty good camera work.

Yeah, he filmed it. I remember he'd watch it all the time when I was very young.

OK, here's the video of the storm we had the other day. It wasn't a very bad lightning storm, but as you can see there was plenty of wind and rain. You can see a flash toward the end and hear some distant thunder.

Man!! I wish it would keep raining like that up here. It's already getting miserably hot.. Which, I think, would explain my massive headache the other day. I need to move to Denver! ;D
Temperature are already reaching the 80s and possibly 90s. (It sure feels like it) What's the average temperature right now where you're at, MIB?

I suck at averages... but the highs have been near 80 and the lows are in the 40's - for the past week or so I guess. Last night we had a super strong line of storms come through on a front and it cooled off a lot today. We had a tiny bit of sleet and snow here, but the higher mountains were under a winter storm warning again.
Usually March is one of our craziest months for weather. We can see anything. Our worst snow and ice storms have come in March.
I wish those storms last night would have been during daylight. It was lightning constantly for about 3-4 hours and the wind was blowing hail up against my window. I would have definitely been out taking pictures. Taking pictures of storms in the dark is virtually pointless unless you have a tripod set up for time exposures of lightning.
