Updated 07-27-09 Vacancy (2007)
07-28-09 The Cheap Detective (1978) - I've never seen a Neil Simon story I didn't like. I'm pretty excited about this one. It's A Wonderful Life (1946) - I've gotten deeply into classic films and I haven't seen this one in 10 years at least. Not to mention I'm a big James Stewart Fan. 2 disc special edition Cape Fear (1962) I've only seen the remake with Robert DeNiro and Nick Nolte. And loved it. I'm really excited about this one. Halloween H20: 20 years Later (1998) - All I need, now, is Halloween 6!!
All the films above came out to $30 with the promotional code at deepdiscount.com.
Animal House (1978) - I could not find this thing cheaper than 15 dollars anywhere I went. Saw it at The Pawn Shop brand new for $5.

Have you got them all set up on your shelves yet?

Well, what I did was take my TV on DVD off the shelf and placed them by my tv. It looks better there, anyways. I've halfway filled up the bottom left section and have 2½ sections to go before the shelf is filled. So that's about 50 movies to go!

Have you seen Coraline yet? As an anime/animation freak myself that looks to be a great flick. I'm tempted to try it on blu ray when it comes down in price some. I just recently rearranged my TV room. I finally upgraded to the TV I've always wanted... A 46inch LED. I got some new shelves and a new futon couch. I got rid of my (way too big) couch and entertainment center and made a lot more room in here. I'm so happy with it. Here is the my new set up... and no the TV and shelves aren't' crooked... I was just sort of wobbly when I took the picture hehe. Here is my measly collection (compared to Jason's). The first one is my anime, SF and Godzilla DVDs. The second is my video games, war movies, horror, TV shows and the rest. I'm starting to build up my blu rays now. We also have just about every animated film (Disney, Pixar etc...) but my wife and kid have those hehe. They aren't getting the ones I get on blu ray though ;D

I saw Coraline in 3D when it came out in theaters. I was very happy with it. I do like The Nightmare Before Christmas better, but Coraline was top notch. I liked it a lot better than Corpse Bride. I have only one flaw with The Nightmare Before Christmas that Coraline tops. Runtime. Coraline was about 100 minutes long, while The Nightmare Before Christmas was only 76 minutes long. I recommend seeing Coraline when you get the chance. Well, you definitely have more video games than me! For PS2 at least. I've only got about 8 for PS2. 15 Game Cube, maybe 20 N64 and about 50 Nintendo games. No Xbox for me. Nice setup with the TV room. My tv is pretty basic. A cheap one, maybe 80 bucks or so I got for my 16th birthday. Still works beautifully, but I really need to update soon. Only about a 20 inch screen.

Did you get to see My Bloody Valentine in the theater in 3D? I wanted to but never made it.
I saw something yesterday that made me think of you and your dvd collection. I was messing around with my Amazon profile settings and I noticed that they have a place now where you can put in your entire media collection and they keep it on file for you. It links to the pictures of the covers and all the reviews too.
It already has all the things that you've ever bought on Amazon on the list but the cool part is that you can enter everything else no matter where you bought it. It even lets you scan the barcodes with a webcam to make it faster.

I did get to see My Bloody Valentine in the theater. I had to go out and watch the original, too, the night before I saw the remake. It was awesome. 3D films suit the horror genre perfectly. The next 3D horror film that comes out, no matter what it is, I'm more than likely going to see it. I heard about that online stuff. I never knew Amazon did it. I'll have to check that out. I'm not too experienced with Amazon. I know how to order movies, but that's about it.

Updated! 09-19-09 Rope (1948) - I've been DYING to see this movie for so long. Considered widely to be among Hitchcock's best films. I'm so excited to see this one. Corpse Bride (2005) - I told myself recently that I finally need to pick this one up. And I did. 4.75 cents, brand new, at Target. Couldn't ask for a better deal.
