I got Corpse Bride awhile back used at Blockbuster, but I still haven't watched it... I need to.
Probably don't bother with the Amazon thing... I went back and checked it out closer and the set up absolutely sucks. They have everything you've got all mashed up into one big hard to navigate or arrange section. Maybe they will clean it up some, but right now it just plain sucks. It would be easier to make your own list and links on your own board lol.
My blu ray collection got bigger today thanks to a sale at Wal-mart. They had a ton of stuff for only 9.99. I picked up -
The Usual Suspects Rambo II Blazing Saddles Flyboys
I also found a copy of the Special 2 disc Hannibal for only 4 bucks (not blu ray but still a steal).
Sorry to infringe on your DVD collection thread J, but I was excited about the find. Usually the only way I can afford to get a blu ray is used at Blockbuster and they never have much I want there.

Hey check this out... I was so disappointed with the Amazon thing I did a search for online dvd library listings and saw nothing but good things about this site... I signed up last night and within two hours had about half of my collection cataloged! It took me a minute to figure out how to do it but once I got it straight it was super fast. www.dvdaf.com/

I figured. All I did here was write them down quickly, then go type them out. IMDB was a good source to find the year of the release, too. So it didn't take TOO long.

I was finally able to afford the 30 dollar Godzilla remastered set that has 8 of the first films each including the U.S. and original Japanese versions. This gets me pretty close to have all the Big G's flicks on DVD... something I've wanted for a long time.

The funnest things to buy when buying movies is the box sets. Box sets are usually loaded with goodies.
I haven't bought any movies in quite a long time! I've been wanting The Wolf Man and Frankenstein pretty bad lately. Hopefully I can afford that one soon.

Yeah, and this one saved me like 50 bucks as opposed to buying the films seperate... that's always a plus too. ;D I love when Box Sets come in DVD form. Basically when they just load a box with the DVDs and extra goodies. Like the Sleepaway Camp Survival Kit Box Set. They put in the 3 movies from the series, then added the few scenes from the cancelled part IV sequel. I paid about 20 dollars for that thing at Best Buy. If I had bought just the 3 DVDs, I would have paid about 35 or 40 bucks.

Have you seen Reign Over Me yet? I loved that movie. It wasn't your normal laughfest with Adam Sandler, but I actually liked it better and the laughs that were there were even more genuine.
I've been meaning to ask you too if you've seen District 9. I saw it a few months ago in the theater. I thought that you'd really like it. It is hard sci fi, bordering on horror. It made me think a lot. I can't think of a bad thing to say about it aside from the puking... puking is my gross out thing, I hate it.
I've been picking up some movies here and there too. I got the original Halloween on blu ray for 8 bucks on Amazon. I can't wait to see it again. It must have been over 20 years since I've seen it and I don't have much memory of it so it should be good all over again hehe...

I saw Reign Over Me in theaters and loved it. This film, Funny People and Click showed that Adam Sandler can do more than make you laugh. I've been a fan of Adam Sandler his whole career.
District 9.. I wanted to see it, but never got the chance to. I've heard nothing but good things, and it bugs me that I missed out on it..
Another pretty crazy Sci-Fi movie is The Fourth Kind. I really think you'll like that one. It's good to see that there've been movies that actually leave an effect on you as of late.
