I've never heard of a moonbow. Pretty cool. Did you get to see one?

No, my friend Mike and I were on the way back from Mammoth Cave and so we just stopped by for about an hour. It only occurs like a few times a year. I wanted to plan a trip back up there but then gas got so high...

I can't resist adding some pics of my own here. I'm sorry they're turning out so little. Don't have time to fix it right now. This last summer, my family took a drive up the Nebo Scenic Loop to Devil's Kitchen. This is not far from where I live, sometimes called "Little Bryce" because it looks similar to Bryce Canyon: Here's part of the trail leading to the overlook: All along the side of the trail were a lot of bunches of spider webs like this one: And here's Mt. Nebo (tallest mountain in the state, I believe) from the trail. When I have more time, I'll try uploading them again larger than this. Again, sorry about the thumbnail size of the pics.

Great pics everyone. I have been to Cumberland falls but I've not seen a moonbow.

What you thought were Spider Webs are actually what we call Gyspy Moths. We have them here in Michigan and they are a terror. They kill a lot of trees.
