Here's a few pics of a road trip we took the other day to World's Edge (a fitting place to share here in this thread) - Me, my Mom and The Bobbins (my son David). The Bobbins - eating fries and looking for sharks and alligators at Lake Lure, NC You can see one of the many apple orchards in this area - behind the signs Views from World's Edge You can see the church where Marii and I got married from atop World's Edge

Those are sooo cool. It looks like the giraffe got really close and the owl is beautiful.

I agree the owl pic is sweet.
I have been to an African Lion Safari over in Canada. It was really cool because the animals I really close. I would not think of getting out of the car though.

I made the mistake of brushing up against this tree with my arm. Two of these little buggers got me. It was the worst sting I've ever had and I've been stung by the best lol. It sort of feels like you are on fire. The are called pack saddles - because of the shape on their backs
