We had a bad thunderstorm on Monday afternoon. I went out to get a few pics and wound up catching some lightning that started a fire on the mountain side.

Me out goofing around after the storm

A chopper dropping water on the fire in the same spot the lightning hit the day before.
It was flying over my house at about 5am... woke me up.

Me too, I really like that one. The lightning one is not that spectacular I know, but it is significant in that I think it started that fire... and it is the first time I've been able to capture a decent lightning pic.

That one is a liltle waterfall tho, on "Start Mountain" (Serra da Estrela) in Portugal.. the biggest mountain - excluding the islands -

the last one was taken also on a moutain, quite smaller than the first one... we were above clouds, I don't remember have experienced that in some other time tho..
