Oh, man. I'm the type of the guy that would intentionally drive 100 miles to catch a vicious lightning storm. You can bet the farm I'd be chasing tornadoes.

I used to do it all the time here, but I know it would be more productive in the middle of the country, tornado alley.
They are calling for freezing rain here tonight and tommorrow. Man, I hate that stuff, I hope it doesn't happen. The last time we had a bad freezing rain we were out of power for several days. Why can't it be snow?

It randomly rained last night. No clouds the entire day. I had been home for about an hour when all of a sudden I hear pouring rain on the roof. It was great! ;D

Thank goodness it just rained here, with a little sleet mixed in. I'm always happier with the power on. ;D

Now it is ridiculously foggy... I kind of like fog.

I love fog. It was EXTREMELY windy last night. Main Street's power went out and you couldn't even tell it was an intersection you were driving through. Winds were hellacious and it rained quite a bit! I loved it.

Cool, I love wind too... as long as MY power doesn't go out ;D Check this out, somebody hacked the MSN weather site... notice the hi and low temps for my area... needless to say it was waaay off... thank goodness. It was pretty funny though.

Someone must have a ton of time on their hands to hack into MSN's weather page and mess with it.

Someone must have a ton of time on their hands to hack into MSN's weather page and mess with it. Lol... either that or the person inputting the data is bored or drunk. We are under a winter storm warning right now. They are forcasting up to 8 inches of snow and sleet for tonight through Saturday morning. The bad part is they are also saying the winds will be high and we should expect heavy power outages. If that happens you can bet I'll be in my Jeep heading to my Mom's and Grandpa's where they have a wood stove. Man, I love snow, so I'm excited and I'm going to enjoy it. We'll worry about the power if it comes to that ;D This is shaping up to be one the coldest December's ever here - the temp is supposed to down to 11 by Monday night. Yuck...

I love snow, too. It's a shame we don't get snow much, here (What should I expect, I really do live in the DESERT). Last year, we got 20 inches of snow and EVERY BIT OF IT melted within a couple of days.... Ugggh

Pretty much anytime it snows here it melts about as soon as it stops. This time it might actually stay since it is supposed to be really cold after. We might get a white Christmas after all.
They are still calling for anywhere from 3 - 12 inches. We are near the freezing line so it could go either way. Lots of times they make a big deal out of it and then we just get rain. It just feels too fraking cold out there for rain.

Well, we got some snow already. It came for about half an hour and we got maybe an inch and a half before it stopped. Still calling for alot more, but I don't know... I had a knock at the door this morning and a stranger wanted to come in out of the cold... I was suspect at first, but when I saw his headgear I knew he must be good people, so I let him in.

Haha. I've got pictures like that in a vault somewhere. Made a snowman and put a Bronco helmet and shirt on it.

There wasn't enough snow for the shirt and all this morning, but there sure is now. We've got 8 inches on the porch and it's still pouring sleet and snow. Tomorrow should be a sweet day for 4 wheeling and taking pictures. I'm wondering if we'll get a foot... the radar shows it to be slacking up some. It's been about 10 years since we got 8 inches of snow and 16 since we got over a foot in the 93 blizzard. This is truly a rare occurrence for us, and I don't think it's ever happened before Christmas.
And that's funny you did that with a snowman too. I figured I was the only goofball that would do that. We're probably related somehow. And I almost put a Fins bandana on it, but it wasn't big enough ;D

I've lived up here in the desert for about 17 years. For the first few years, we would actually get some snow and it would even stick. Maybe 4 or 5 inches that would last about a week or so. Now, all of a sudden, we don't see snow for years at a time. Last year was almost unbelievable. 20 inches of snow. I'm still baffled that all of it melted in 2 or 3 days. What a crock!!
I'd love some snow right now. It's about 70 degrees outside today, which is nice, but I want some snow!
