I finally get to mark something off my bucket list! I get to go to my first NFL game in November. My sister Carole (Bella) wanted to get her husband Panthers tickets for his birthday so I offered to get the tickets for them if they'd take me along. So we're all set to see them play the Falcons in Charlotte. Here's hoping it doesn't rain... (Snow might be cool though).

WOW! I'll bet you're pretty stoked! My first and only NFL game so far was in 1994 when John Elway and The Broncos took on the L.A. Rams. The Rams dominated early and I almost witnessed one of the famous John Elway 4th quarter comebacks. They lost by 6.

Hey, at least you got to see Elway.
I had 50 yd line seats to see Marino play in Charlotte and I got a severe ear infection and couldn't get out of bed. It was OK though because even though Miami won, Dan played bad and didn't throw a TD. So I didn't miss much.

Man.. Talk about bad luck! I've had a history of being sick on my birthday. I'm sure it's always fun to go to your team's home game against a division rival. Especially when your team is doing pretty well.

Wow, I've always been a Jake Delhomme fan, but I think that he is done. I've denied it the whole offseason no matter what anyone said... but I think he might be through.
I hope that they have their QB situation fixed by that game, but at least I can say I got to see Matt Ryan and Tony G. play.... along with all the Panthers greats like Beason, Smith and Williams. Hopefully some of those guys will not be hurt hehe.

It's funny, I've always dealt with my dad when he would complain about Jay Cutler when he'd have a bad game. I'd always defend Jay even when he didn't deserve it. I would have never imagined that the highlight of my week (besides Denver's 87 yard touchdown pass to win the game) was watching Jay Cutler throw a career high 4 interceptions out of the gate. Not to mention 5 more should've been picked off. ;D
It's hard to imagine Tony Gonzales without a Chiefs jersey (Not nearly as tough to imagine Jay Cutler in a Bears Jersey. But that's another story).
Looks like he's gonna run rampid in your division now, MIB. Haha! Just hope the Carolina D can contain him! I'll be routing for 'em!

Yuck, he did look bad tonight. His receivers might have just looked even worse. I can't help thinking of what Mushin Muhammad said when he left the Bears to come back to Carolina..."Chicago is where receivers go to die."

Yeah. The receivers definitely didn't help. 1 or 2 of those picks were the receiver's fault. BUT Cutler nearly threw another 3 or 4 more picks that were dropped by Green Bay. I'm just glad to see he had one of the worst days of his career. I shouldn't hate

What a coincidence, MIB!! I'm going to the Denver at San Diego game on Monday Night Football!!! My dad randomly offered to get us a couple of tickets. I really REALLY hope Denver pulls out the win. It's definitely going to be fun going to Qualcomm Stadium where John Elway and the Broncos won their first Super Bowl!! Pretty stoked. But nervous!!! Smash Phyllis Rivers' mouth!!!

That's awesome! Sorry I missed this earlier. I'm definitely watching that game pulling for the Broncos. I'm hooked on their playcalling now and for some reason San Diego games are always exciting too.
I've been trying to get tickets for the Panthers/Dolphins thursday night game just a few days after the Falcons game, but I keep getting outbid on Ebay so far... hehehe...

Marii will enjoy me getting out of her hair when I go. I'm trying to get two tickets for me and my brother-in-law... Bella's man. I'm going to the Clemson vs Wake Forest game today. I haven't been to a Tiger game for many years (always had to work Saturdays). Clemson is less than an hour from my house, even closer than the Panther game. Only problem is that the temp is in the 30's and it is absolutely pouring rain... should be interesting anyways. I was going to do some pictures to share here, but I'm thinking the health of my camera is more important.

Last I checked, Clemson was clobbering Wake Forest!

It was over in the first half. Not a good game at all, but I still enjoyed it. I got to see CJ Spiller take one in from 66 yards out and that's what I went to see so it was all good.
They sent me the wrong seats a section up from the sideline seats I paid for, but at least they were still 50 yard line. Some dorks were in our seats when we got there and we had to get an usher to move them. They still got mad after that and told me that if they got to the other section and found out we were wrong that they'd be back to move us. I told them that there wouldn't be any moving of anybody. Other than that we had a great time and I'll be getting a partial refund for the tickets too.

Nice! I can only imagine how many goofballs I'll be surrounded by tomorrow night. I get a pretty decent judgment of Charger fans personalities since I live deep in the pit of California. They tend to be the ones who act like gangsters and mix sentences with English and Spanish. Hopefully I'll get to sit next to a few Denver fans!
