Stoked for the game! I had to pick Carolina. Both teams are doing very well, but it's hard to pick against Carolina with what they did to Atlanta last week.

They want me to wear a Panthers shirt or coat, but I'm going to wear my C.J. Spiller jersey to do my part in promoting him for the Heisman ;D Of course the Marino jersey is coming off the wall on Thursday night! I'll bet you love C.J. Spiller. The guy was born and raised in Miami and now plays in Carolina. Haha. That guy should definitely be in the top 3 for the Heisman. It's unfortunate Clemson isn't a ranked team, though.

Lol... they were ranked before they tanked... somewhere in the teens, then lost to USC. That put them at 24 then the loss to Ga Tech and poof! We get Kentucky in a bowl game so hopefully we can win that.
Spiller would have had it locked up by mid-season if he played for say... Florida. In his last game (Ga Tech) he had almost more all purpose yards than all of 3 of the other candidates combined. 233 rushing yards with a 12 yd average and 4 runs of over 35 yds and 4 tds. Not to mention the passing and kick return yards in that game. And he did it every week.
He is approaching DeAngelo Williams all time, all purpose mark (7,573 - 7,448) and nobody even notices because Clemson is sucking this year. He has the most kick return TDs in history (7)along with several other records.
Sorry for the lecture... but I love to watch him play. A couple of mock drafts have him going to the Dolphins... he is exactly what they need. They don't have a big play guy like that. If he goes to the Jets or Pats I will cry.

I'll bet you'd love to see him in Miami.
Hopefully he'll be recognized and they'll present him with the Heisman trophy.

He didn't make the finalists, but I'll settle for the all time record. If he gets a mere 200 yds against Kentucky (nothing for him) he'll have it I think. I can't find the records for all-time yards anywhere. I know Williams has it, you can find it by looking him up, but Spiller's stats are almost impossible to find. I had to add up all his yards myself. They did say he has over 7,000 and he broke the ACC all time mark so I know my math is close.
If he doesn't get it, that's still cool as DeAngelo is my favorite back in the NFL right now. Gotta love that other Williams farther south too lol...

I'm glad Ricky got his stuff together. So much talent nearly gone to waste.
