Have you watched [[The Spirit]]? I have it but I haven't been in the mood for it yet.

Haha. I'm the same way. I have it, but not quite in the mood for it. My friend, Chris, saw it in theaters and loved it. But most reviews are bad for the film, which is kinda why I haven't watched it yet.

I've been buying movies like mad lately, too many to keep up with.
I did finally find something cool to send you with the magic Nuggets ball... at the Blockbuster that's going out of business here they are selling everything even the shelves... I picked up two cases of the DVD backer cards (the mini poster things behind the movies). I tried to find all the ones I could that were either ones I knew you liked or some that were B-Movie horror films.
Now when I relocate the Nuggets ball, I'll be sending you that stuff.

Wow! That's awesome! Thanks so much! I was actually wondering very recently if you had sent that Nuggets ball. Haha. Those movie cards will be the cake to my icing... Or the icing... to my cake Blockbuster hasn't gone out of business where I'm at. It's all the Hollywood Video stores. There's only one left now and their selection is getting pretty limited. :/ I always preferred the Hollywood Video stores over Blockbuster. At least in my town. I bought Dude Where's My Car on Thursday from the Pawn Shop! Haven't seen it yet, though.

That movie is hilarious!
We don't have even one video store where I live. The nearest one is that Blockbuster and it is about 20 miles away down in South Carolina. I'm hoping the movies drop really low before they close.
I finally found the Nuggets ball... My son had thrown it into our little fountain pond in our sunroom... man that ball will have a serious history by the time it reaches you. The swim didn't seem to hurt it any, and now I can send it your way soon.

I will definitely take care of that ball for a very long time.
There are a few Blockbuster stores here. 2 or 3 have opened over the past couple of years, so I'm sure they're going to be around for a while. There's only one Hollywood Video left and I have no idea where the nearest one would be. Many, many miles. That's for sure.

I've been cleaning out Blockbuster lately as all their movies are 3.99 now. They have one more week open... so I'm hoping next week they mark everything down to hardly nothing. I've only been getting things they just have one or two copies of that I know won't be left.
I'm mailing out your goody box tomorrow... I'm sending it media mail because it's pretty heavy, so it may take a week or so to get there... let me know when it arrives so I won't have to go to the PO and go postal for not getting it to you ;D

I bought 4 movies yesterday from Hollywood Video. I was next in line and overheard the lady in front ask if there were any other Hollywood Videos around she could stop at. He said that they were, in fact, among the last few in the country that weren't closed down yet. BUMMER!!!! I loved Hollywood Video. I will definitely let you know when it arrives. Haha. That little Nuggets ball is going somewhere on display. Not only is it my favorite team, but that thing has history behind it. Creepy... interesting history. Book of Blood (2009) The Hills Run Red (2009) Infestation (2009) The Stepfather (2009) Holy hell. 2009 fest at Hollywood Video.

Just warning you it is in the box so don't accidentally throw it out... I couldn't find the little container it came in (maybe the assclowns stole it too) so I wrapped it up really good in plastic bags so that the heavy stack of poster cards won't crush it.

Are the postcards really that heavy? Or are there just a ton of them?

It's not the cards, it's the bowling balls I tied to them... ;D They aren't that heavy individually, but I'd guess they are at least twice as heavy as a post card and a bit bigger. There are a lot of them. I bought just about everyone of the scifi ones I could find for me and I got a big pile of ones I thought you'd like too. There were so many I had to have help carrying them out of the store

Updated! 07-11-2010 See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) The Ninth Gate (1999) I received a package from Barnes and Noble today and I was wondering what in theee hell I bought from them?! Then I saw your name and I thought "Nuggets ball!" Man, those poster cards are something I've never seen before. I've seen the holographic cards that you can tear off of the slip cover of a movie, but never anything like this. Those were freakin' sweet. I laughed out loud when I flipped the comedy pile over and saw Fletch and Young Frankenstein. Once I organize my entertainment center (bedroom ) I'll make room to place those on the wall. It'll take up a lot of space How much did these cost you?! The Nuggets ball is sitting right in front of me for now. I think I'll have it placed on one of my shelves for souvenirs and things. Priceless item right here!
