Cheerleader Massacre (2003) - Oh, Lord. This movie was just bad. Hopefully I can trade this movie in at the Pawn Shop. I bought it for 2 bucks at Hollywood Video since they're going out of business. It's almost like this movie was made just to show nudity. Oy.
Lars and the Real Girl (2007) - This movie has gotten pretty good reviews, hopefully it's worth the 3 bucks I spent at Hollywood Video. ;D
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008) - This movie was pretty good. Worth 3 bucks I'd say.

Oh, boy did I go crazy with movies. Hollywood Video is going out of business and all DVDs are now $1.49 or 5 for 6 dollars.

I got rid of just about every movie I don't want. I traded 5 of them at the Pawn Shop for no charge. I ended up buying 2 others.

More insane sales. What's crazy is that the other Hollywood Video is going to start selling all their movies after this one closes down. I'm going to have 1,000 movies by the time they're closed.  I saved about 300 bucks on these last two trips to Hollywood Video, alone!!! No exaggeration! Updated! 05-24-2010 The Demon (1979) - The cover kinda sold me on this one. I've been finding movies dirt cheap and decided to pick this one up. Joy Ride (2001) - Chris told me he loved this movie and that I'd love it, too. $3 at the Pawn Shop? I'll take it! Species II (1998) - I've had the original and part III for years. I really did enjoy the first, now I finally have part 2 to watch. Only need part IV now! Mystic River (2003) - This is a great film and I finally spotted it for $5 brand new at Wal Mart in the GOOD case. Not the snap ones that are made of cardboard. Had to finally get it and I'm glad I held out for it. I've seen it, used, so many times in that snap case. |

There's a .99 cent store that has a small video store inside that they're now closing. Videos are dirt cheap EVERYWHERE right now!!!

Mystic River was good. Joy Ride was pretty cool too. And I just watched Paul Blart and laughed my head off at it... way funnier than I expected.
You've been hard at it on the movies lately. I guess it's nice to find such deals at a time when you got your job too.

Definitely. The two trips to Hollywood video, I saved over 300 bucks. While spending only 20 or 25. The bigger Hollywood Video has just begun selling their movies. It's a matter of time before I start building again!
