Records Say Chinese Gymnasts May Be Under Age This really doesn't surprise me coming from a country with such low moral standards in their government. Why, actually are we letting them have the Olympics? Does anybody know? New York Times StoryBoth of these little ladies are listed as 16, which is the minimum Olympic age. Other documents say they are a good bit younger. He Kexin - She's supposed to be 16? Jiang Yuyuan (middle) - 16? Come on, look at her compared to the other gymnasts

I just feel sorry for these girls. I have nothing against them, but their government is a different story. They are taken from their families sometimes against their will at an early age. They are basically forced into the propaganda efforts of China.

Kwasi and I made several comments while watching the gymnastics events that the girls on the Chinese team just didn't look old enough. There was one in particular that looked maybe 12 at the oldest. Hearing about the way they train just made me sad, especially thinking about Sadie. I could never subject her to that.
