I've been looking forward to [[The Road]], I usually love stuff like that, but it is on a limited release schedule and the only place I've found it is in an old theater that always smells like piss... I'd rather see it at home than go there. It's based off a novel and stars Viggo Mortensen

When I first moved up here, back in 1992, we had (at the time) a big theatre with 10 screens and a smaller theater at the mall with about 8 screens. Two new cinemark theaters were built recently, one replacing the mall's 8 screen theater with 16, and another on the opposite side of town with 15 screens. Further down that road is a new Ultra Star theater with about 16 or so screens. The theater with ten screens turned into the dollar theater. You can see movies that recently left the theater, here. Luckily, this one doesn't smell like piss. The audio isn't quite as good as the newly built theaters, but it's well worth the price. Paranormal Activity is still showing at that theater. www.cinemark.com/theater_list.asp?cityziptxt=Victorville,CA

Not smelling like piss is always a plus for me...
We saw Sherlock Holmes last night and it was as good as I thought it would be!

[[Battle for Terra]] - Animated film I've been wanting to see for a while. It had a lot in common with Avatar... if I'd seen this first I might not have been as disappointed in it. I've already put the blu-ray up for sale on Amazon. I couldn't watch it again.
[[Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen]] - Yeah, I watched it again with my son. He got so into it that he made me get down some of my transformer toys off the shelves so he could play with them.

I'll bet it made you pretty happy to see him so into Transformers. ;D I'll be honest, I watched him more than the movie.

I tend to do that with people I watch movies with... Usually comedies and usually comedies I've seen 100 times. ;D I'll watch to see if they get a reaction out of the scenes I find hilarious.

Yeah, I only do it with movies I've seen. I'm usually lost in the film if it's the first time. It was funny with the Transformers this time, I didn't even call David to watch it with me. I just turned up the sound really loud and he came running and then was glued to the TV the whole time.
I just watched Blindness - this was really good. I'd almost call it a work of art - with a message.

We saw Daybreakers last night. That movie was awesome!! It was similar to 30 Days of Night in a way.

Let's see. I've seen quite a few movies, lately. I'll try to remember them all. Observe and Report - This is just one of those fun movies to watch every now and then when you need a good laugh. The Thing - Definitely happy I bought this one. Great movie. Similar to Alien in some ways. Though I prefered this one. Tales From the Crypt (1972) - Great movie. I'm very glad they made the show. I even remember some episodes of Tales From the Crypt that remade some events from the movie. The Silence of the Lambs - My appreciation for this movie grows after every viewing. The greatest film of all time. The Simpsons Movie - I was so glad that this film lived up to the hype. Loaded with laughs. The Simpsons beats Family Guy, easily. I don't understand how they're even compared. Frailty - Whoa!!!! I was searching for 'the top 10 scariest films ever made' a few weeks ago and I noticed Frailty on this list. The review was so enticing and when I saw that Bill Paxton was in it, I had to buy it. Went on Deepdiscount and bought it for 6 bucks. The film wasn't as terrifying as it seemed to be, but WOW what a thriller. I recommend this one.

I thought you'd like The Thing... and I agree about it being better than Alien.
Sahara - 2nd time on this one, great action flick.
Dark City - I didn't think I'd like this as much as I did.
Transformers - Somewhere in the double digits now on this one.

I'm guessing you kinda enjoy Transformers? It's always great to find a movie that you can watch repeatedly. Frankenstein - A good classic. There's so much originality, here. Vertigo - Is there any film Hitchcock will disappoint me with? He impresses me more and more after every film I see. This one was better than my last viewing. Rear Window - Another Hitchcock masterpiece. Not to mention my favorite actor and actress teaming up for this film. Easily in my top 5 films of all time!

Spacestation IMAX 3D - at the Kennedy Visistor's Center. We saw it once before at the Huntsville Space Center, but it wasn't in 3D. It was pretty cool.

Haven't heard of Spacestation.
I don't remember if I've seen any movies, lately. I'll probably watch the original Wolf Man and then see the remake pretty soon.
