What do you think of this show? I really like the idea but I've only seen a few of the episodes. From what I have seen it's hard for me to decide anything by the evidence shown. It's definitely some creepy fun but is it convincing at all to any of you?

I like this show - as you said, it's creepy fun. There's been a couple of shows that were pretty convincing. There was one that they did in a cemetery that was really creepy but I couldn't find which episode it was.

Okay, I'm loving this season so far! Tonight they did one in an old mill that was really cool. Not scary - just cool. They used a tool I had not seen before - a K-2 meter. In short, it lights up when something paranormal is near. Well, they had an entire conversation with a ghost using their K-2 tonight. They placed it on a chair in an area that had been reported as haunted. They asked someone to make the tool light up and it did. Then they started asking it questions and figured out that it was a nine year old boy from Central Falls who had worked in the mill. They asked the same questions in different ways, even 10 minutes apart, and got the same information each time. (To do this, they asked yes or no questions - the tool lit up if it was a yes answer.) Then they moved to a different building and the same spirit followed them there, answered the same questions the same way. It was really interesting.
K-2 Meter (as defined on the Ghost Hunters page) - A device, specially calibrated for paranormal investigations, that measures magnetic fields. Some believe it can be used to train a spirit to intensify its magnetic field as a form of communication.

I like the ghost hunters international show too. The girls are hot and that doesn't hurt it any. They went to some creepy hotel in Brazil on the show tonight. It was pretty cool they caught some shadows on camera and something that looked like figures of a woman and a kid walking through the kitchen.

I missed this past week's GHI show, but I caught the premiere last week. They were in Peru I think? But anyway, they caught an image of a kid in a glass case. The wierd thing? There had been reports of a kid in that area.... and the two investigators tried to recreate the image, but they couldn't.... it was cool!

I don't think this is a scam, and I believe it's real. The most shocking episode, to me, was when they caught a ghost on audio saying, as clear as day, "I like the one with the hat". CREEPY STUFF!!!

I remember that episode!!! Can't remember where they were though! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to catch many of the GHI episodes. We've been doing a lot of stuff lately!

Man I wish I had a job like that. It would be so cool to be a ghost hunter, or a UFO hunter... even a Bigfoot hunter. Maybe we'd never find anything but it would be a blast trying... plus look at all the cool places they get to go investigate. It would be worth it for the photo opportunities alone.

I know! My fiance asked me one night while we were watching it "You'd love to work with them wouldn't you?"
And I was like "Yeah... in a heartbeat!"

I bought my girlfriend the complete 3rd season for her birthday (I think it was? Or maybe I just bought it for the hell of it ) because she loved the show. She was thrilled to have it. And it really got me into it.

I also liked the one where they used the k-2 meter to talk to a woman who was waiting for someone to get off the train. VERY interesting. I forgot what the place was called, but it was a HUGE rundown building. They said it was the biggest investigation site they've ever done.
