T-Ball is one of the funniest things I've ever seen... My little man and all his buddies are the perfect subjects for photos

That last picture is unbelievable. You should look into a career in photography. There's no job better than a job you love doing. And you clearly have the talent.
I'm so thrilled my dad got me into sports at such a young age. It's why I'm very athletic and I have no idea what my interests would be if it weren't for him.
I hope David has as much fun doing sports as I did. I was never in a tee ball league or anything like that, but my dad constantly played football, baseball and basketball with me. Those are my fondest memories. Sports with my dad, outside, blasting classic rock. I was never the hitter, and I can see David is already a step above me on my best day. ;D
Keep him busy, Dad!!

Thanks for the compliments. I keep trying to get my foot in the door somewhere with the pictures. I have thousands of photos in online galleries selling ads on them and available for prints... so far I've made 73 dollars in 3 years lol... I took pictures of everyone's kid on the team with David and I'm putting those together for a gallery... and I'm going to give those to everyone for free (they'll have to pay for prints if they want them). I'm hoping that might get something started. (when I get those loaded up I'll put some of those in this thread, they came out awesome - the ones here are just with my old Sony and the new ones are after I replaced my stolen Nikon.) Believe it or not I went to school for journalism not cooking. I worked over a decade at a newspaper doing everything from developing pictures in a darkroom and working on the press to writing articles and taking pictures... I couldn't make it on the pay though, as it was very low. I never played any type of baseball, but it doesn't matter to me if that's the sport David gets into. If he wants a whole lot of help from me he'll have to try football and/or basketball though And he already hits better than I ever did.

I don't understand why I'm such a horrible hitter. My outfield skills were excellent, but I always needed either a pinch hitter, or just sat on the bench. I'm sure all the parents will be thrilled about the pictures. It's not every day you get a parent with a Nikon getting fantastic pictures of their kids on the field.

I'm right there with you, I couldn't hit a tennis ball either. My Dad used to get so mad at me trying to teach me tennis. I'd wind up just hitting the balls out of the court to make him mad sooner to get it over with.
I'm not sure if it is the same eye skills that you need with shooting a gun, but I can't aim those very well either. When I was in the Boy Scouts a rifle instructor told me I had a lazy eye... that made me over compensate with the other eye so that I lined things up in the sights wrong even though it would look exactly right to me. I always figured that it probably affected my hitting balls too. But, boy could I run and catch.
As far as the pictures go, you should have seen how excited all those mothers got when I handed out those cds with the pictures on them. I wrote my email on them so I hope I get some feedback.

Tennis, I'm actually pretty decent at. I can hit a tennis ball just fine. After high school, I went to the batting cages a few times and hit the balls fairly well, which is a massive step up from what I used to do. Now that you mention it, I seem to recall (I could be completely wrong, though) that my eye doctor, when I was pretty young, told me I had a lazy eye. Which seems like a good reason why I could never hit a baseball to save my life. I'll bet you do get feedback. My mom is addicted to facebook and things like that. Always checking and sending emails etc... I guarantee they're thrilled enough to leave feedback.
