That's great news about the job. And I hope things go well for your relationship too.
I would imagine that the turnover rate at the place is because of people quitting. Everywhere I've ever worked people quit at a ridiculous rate.
I hope you like working there.

I hope that's what it is. People quitting. That would just make them want to keep me on even more.

If I was more healthy I'd already be in Louisiana signing up for a job cleaning the coast.

I had to go down there yesterday to sign some paper work and get some advice from the people working there. One of the guys who hired me told me about the last guy they hired for my position. He would tell everyone he worked with that they're not the boss of him and he doesn't need to do what they say. Lasted two days.

That's what I mean by the turnover... people like you and me don't have the problems sticking around, because we are respectful and do what we are asked.

I hope I last a long time! I have to travel about 45 miles to the location, though. I'm hoping to be able to get my M1 soon and take the motorcycle!

Long drives to work suck, I know how you feel... we live about 30 miles from where I worked. I was thinking of getting a motorcycle while I was still there. I actually went and took the permit test, but now I'm glad I didn't get one. I think I'll save up for a few years and get a trike... those look like alot of fun and also like I could handle it better.

My dad raced motorcycles for years. He's concerned for my safety and really doesn't want me to do it. But I'll save thousands a year!! I could buy a BEACHing Corvette in 5 years just on gas saved ALONE!!

I know that I could probably never make a drive on a motorcycle through congested traffic... but then again I'm not much on doing it in a car.

I'd definitely pick a motorcycle to drive in traffic. It's legal to pass cars in traffic, in California at least. But you have to be doing no more than 15 mph. Which is better than zero.

I used to have a hard time staying upright on a bicycle while doing zero ;D

I haven't ridden a bicycle in a few years, actually. I lost interest when my favorite bike I ever owned was stolen. Got a mountain bike, but it just wasn't the same.

Marii and I got matching mountain/road bikes - the really nice kind just before I started getting sick. To show you how much I ride mine there is a birds nest on the handle bars with baby birds in it... I've got to get a picture of those little dudes.
