One the things Marii and me love to do together is going to concerts. We've never taken David with us, but he's going to the [[Tobymac]] and [[Skillet]] show in Asheville next month. Marii got those tickets for us - Tobymac is a Christian singer/rapper that she and David love (I prefer Skillet myself so we'll all be happy). David has been running around the house with his toy microphone screaming his favorite Tobymac line "turn out the lights, pass me the mike!" It's freakin hilarious. I've got to catch him doing it with my camera's video thing.
Not to be outdone I surprised Marii with Bon Jovi tickets for their show in Charlotte on April 22. She seemed pretty stoked about that. We have both been Bon Jovi fans from the beginning. I got seats above the side of the stage in the Bobcats arena. I've never sat in that position at a concert, but from the chart it looks like a great vantage point to get pictures so I'm getting pretty excited about that. We are going that one alone as it is a late anniversary trip for us.
