What a whirlwind of action going on surrounding the USC coaching job right now. It does not surprise me that Lane Kiffin dumped Tennessee after one year. He has made plenty of enemies here in the South... at Tenn and in the SEC. Good riddance I say even though I'm not a Volunteer fan.
Tennessee kind of got what was coming to them after dumping Philip Fulmer. Like Florida State without Bowden, the Volunteers would have nothing without Fulmer.
And who better to be brought in to USC to calm down all the violation talk... Mr. walking violation himself - Kiffin - very amusing to me, I can't wait to see all the destruction to follow this move.
You know Al Davis has something to say to somebody about all this lol...

Good to see Pete Carroll back in the NFL. I hope he has some sort of success. I know New England never got him far.

Maybe good, maybe bad... as you found out this year he can be a little of both. He is an improvement over what we had I think. I hope you guys get a good replacement.

We need a member of the Ryan family. Take the one from the Jets, before he actually makes them good or something.

Why do the Jets always get the players I like... and the coaches. I'd kill to have a guy like Ryan coaching for the Fins. And now they've got LT. If the Pats or Jets draft Spiller I may shoot myself.

There's no way he's going to last that long in the draft. I'm almost positive he'll be the first running back drafted.

You are probably right. I think Seattle wants him if he's still there for them. I hear the 49ers are interested too. I could live with those teams.

I doubt he'll still be available by the time he gets to Seattle's pick (Formerly Denver's ;D ). I'm guessing the Rams will take Bradford, The Lions will take Ndamukong Suh and Tampa Bay will take Russell Okung. Not too sure how it's gonna go from there. I'll bet Clausen will be drafted by Washington.

Seattle has number 6 too, but I'm not sure they'll try him that high. I just don't see anyone else taking a RB before the Niners and Hawks pick later, but I've definitely been wrong before... once. I will try my best not to, but I can see myself getting mad if he's there when the Fins pick and they don't take him.

I wouldn't blame you. I was hoping for Mark Sanchez, but the darn Jets got to him first. I was really hoping for Malcolm Jenkins, but I'm happy with Alphonso Smith. he hasn't done much, but I expect great things.
