Hey Jason, I never would have thought it would be Denver who'd make the first positive upgrade to the Wildcat. The Wild Horses is awesome! Having the quarterback in motion then coming under center is genius. The best part is that they also brought it out against NE. There are so many things they can do out of that setup. One thing I want to see them do (and I think they might) is to stop Orton out of motion under the left guard. Then snap it to the back. The run probably won't get much more yardage because of this, but the point will be to set up a big pass play out of the formation later - where Orton only fakes stopping at the guard then takes the snap and goes long. Although, my eyes are still burning from those uniforms LOL! I told you Moreno was awesome!

Wild Horses!! They pulled that out very very effectively! Everytime it was just a basic run up the middle, but they kept getting 8, 10, 12, 15 yards every time. They did fool the defense a few times when they lined up in Wild Horses formation but brought Orton back. I would've loved to see Moreno toss to Marshall or Orton for a touchdown. Fantastic!! I loved it. I know exactly what you're saying. Maybe they'll use it next week against Sandy Eggo ( ). I'll be seeing that game live. These two games are the most important to me this season.. The Patriots game.... Just because they're the Patriots. Haha. And the San Diego game because I'll actually be there. Josh McDaniels was so fired up after the game. Watching him point to the fans and rock his fist. It made me smile. He's clearly here to win and he seems to love it in Denver. It's great to see Denver out to such a good start.

Wow! You got tickets to the Monday Night game? Sweet! I've been thinking about what I said with Orton moving... I think I'd have him keep coming and stop under the right guard for the decoy play before pulling the long pass play. That would have the D even more off balance. All that crap everyone has said about Orton. There aren't many players QB or otherwise playing as intelligently as he is right now. And I don't know of maybe 2 or 3 QBs that could come in motion and throw that effectively. I just keep rambling, but I'm serious, I love crap like this. I used to get so excited when Kordell was playing for the Steelers and Randall Cunningham is in my top 5 favorite players of all time. I can't tell you how many bushes, trees, kids, dogs etc... that I leaped over with the clock counting down in my head, pretending to be Rockin' Randall. Trick plays and running QBs ROCK! I can't understand why more coaches don't use all their players to the best of their abilities. Moreno has such potential and who knew Orton had such poise and discipline. I'm already picking Denver next week. That's an easy choice. I used to be a big San Diego fan, but Merriman has got on my nerves from the beginning and Norv and the front office seem to be such dorks. We had ole Norv for awhile and ran him out of town. I have some love for Rivers (cause he's a Carolina boy), but I usually hope they lose lately.

Yep!!! I posted in your topic about your first Carolina game about 2 or 3 weeks ago that I had scored tickets to Denver at San Diego. Pretty stoked, but SO NERVOUS. I love Randall Cunningham! The Ultimate Weapon!! That guy could run!! I enjoyed seeing him scramble when I was pretty young. Every now and then, out of pure boredom, I would play as the Eagles and run the QB draw just to see Randall run 99 yeards untouched. I'll be honest, I was super nervous during the offseason. So many huge changes made Denver practically a whole new team. The first new head coach in almost 20 years. Then trading away Jay Cutler.. I was a bit skeptical with Orton, but I'm super happy to have him as the leader of the offense. He's doing fantastic for Denver right now.
