Hell On Earth
Where is your God now? Many bitter people have asked those who are left with belief that there is, or that there has to be a God, one that is caring and loving. No matter if its one God or several, too many disbelieve now even though they know hell must be real, and they can only hate the "God" or "Gods" that exist for letting this monstrosity happen.
What has happened? The world has become something unholy and unbearable for those who are left, still alive. After the world kept filling with sinners, Hell started to become filled - unable to take any more souls condemned there, and as such it has rejected them. What is left are unholy creatures that lurk through the cities and wilderness, bound to Earth even though they have long since passed on. Bitter, the humans have tried their best to try and fight the growing forces, but for the longest time nothing seemed to stop the growing masses. Hellhound verses humans, each trying to 'survive', in a funny sense to the meaning, and each encroaching upon what little space of the world is left - killing off wildlife and each other in the end. The humans have built a specialized substance that will wipe away the hellhounds...but in doing so, they've created the ultimate death weapon. Able to clear away a soul completely, only a special human group is able to wield the jars that carry this potent chemical.
