I was going through the What Movies Have You Seen Lately topic and I decided to make this one. Are there any movies out there that you think we need to see (if we haven't already)? I've got a few.
Ghost Story (1981) - This is a very creepy and entertaining ghost movie. Definitely one of the creepiest out there. I highly recommend this one to anyone who's into supernatural movies.
Fletch (1985) - This is by far the funniest film I've ever seen. You can't see anything much funnier than Chevy Chase at his best.
Clue (1985) - This is one of my favorite films. I've loved it since I was a kid and still love it to this day. It's a mystery movie based on the board game, Clue. The humor is very fast paced. To this day I still notice little things here and there that I've missed.
Psycho (1960) - Okay. I'm sure all of you have seen this film. But I figured I'd try.
Luckily for me, when I watch a classic horror film for the first time, I have an ability to disregard just about all the general mediocre scenes that make up a perfect B-Horror flick. For example: Psycho
Psycho was released in 1960. And in 1960, viewpoints, reactions, plots, settings and just about everything that made up a movie are completely different compared to today's standards. But it's almost as if I can place myself in that said year and feel almost exactly what the audience felt. If anybody here can do the same thing, I guarantee that Psycho will shock you.
The Silence of the Lambs (1991) - Anthony Hopkins' performance as Dr. Hannibal Lecter is probably the greatest performance in the history of cinema. The movie, as a whole, is one of the most intelligent movies I've ever seen. I highly recommend this movie.
