[[Predator X]] is the codename for a prehistoric marine predator, thought by scientists to be a new species in the [[Pliosaur]] family. The skull of the predator was excavated in mid-2008 in [[Svalbard]], near the Arctic, by a Norwegian team.[1] It is claimed by researchers to be the "most fearsome animal ever to swim in the oceans".
The creature was 15 metres (49 ft) long, 45,000 kilograms (99,000 lb) in weight and had teeth 30 centimetres (12 in) long.
This sucker had over 30,000 lbs of bite pressure... more than 10 times that of the largest great whites... and powerful enough to completely flatten a large car just as a compactor might.
