What do you think of Mr. Cheesehead and his comeback? Brett carried the Pack on his back for years Personally, I'm tired of hearing about it. I wish him the best as he was definitely good for the game, but the everyday Favre headlines are getting old. Now if he signs with the Dolphins I will do a little victory dance ;D Truly... unsportsmanlike conduct

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! LOVE the Madden-Favre shot there! SO true! Anyway, I'm so over the whole thing. I like him, seems nice, great QB, but enough already.

I think I speak for Dolphins fans everywhere... WTF! Crap! It's hard to be a Dolphins fan lately. First Jimmy Johnson bolts leaving us with Dave Wannstadt who makes use of his degree in rocket science by running Marino out of town clearing money for "Super Flake" Ricky Williams. All the while the Patsys are cheating their way to dynasty status. In comes the savior Nick "I'm not taking the Bama job" Saban... who takes the Bama job but not before replacing our Pro Bowl secondary with... well nothing and leaving the team in such a mess that the next savior Cam Cameron is lucky to get the one win in the Dolphins worst season ever. Our third and current savior of the (dolphin safe?) Tuna cuts the only hero we had left - Zach Thomas while Jason Taylor literally dances his a$$ to the Redskins. Let me tell you, we learned to stop saying "it can't get any worse" about the time savior number two took Ted Ginn Jr. over Brady Quinn in the 2007 draft... but that was OK because we had Cleo Lemon I said that's OK because we had Cleo Lemon Cleo L... nevermind... So, after all this I truly never expected Brett Favre to end up anywhere but NY. It makes perfect sense, that the man who hung on to his interception flinging career just long enough to break Marino's records would finish up by dropping back in J.E.T.S (I hate it when they spell it out like that) green to throw a few more daggers into the hearts of Fin fans everywhere. It could be worse though, you could be Chad Pennington who was cut by the Jets just so he could be signed by... you guessed it, the Dolphins. And in one last bit of miraculous irony that could make the Heart of Gold's probability drive implode... Dolphins vs. Jets - Week one... lol. Just another black day for the orange and teal Cleo Lemon

I've heard talk about everyone saying Favre is a traitor for leaving the Packers. Truth is.. They cut him! He kept stringing them along during the offseason debating on whether or not to come back. You can't do that. They cut him. He's a Jet and they're probably on the losing end of it. But Aaron Rogers isn't a bad quarterback. Lets see how he does as the Packers starting Quarterback.
Go Broncos

Ahh it's actually pretty funny... and it's fun to make fun of it ;D
Jason, I agree about Aaron Rodgers. I think that he will be a better quarterback this year than Favre would have been for them. Rodgers is more controllable... and I mean that in a good way. He will lead the team the way the coaching staff wants him to and the whole group will be more on the same page... as opposed to Brett just slinging it all over the place. Will they win as many games this year? Who knows, but I for one don't think they would win any more with Favre.
And for the record I'm actually glad to have Chad Pennington as a Dolphin. He looks really good so far and has always been a class act for the Jets.

On a side note. I'm having an NFL Prediction Contest at my board. I'm trying to find as many people as possible before the season starts and it'd be nice to have someone with great knowledge of football to join in. Take a look! Let me know what you think. jasonfreak.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=nflpredictionsAll info is posted there.

Are you stoked about Ricky Williams comeback? You know, I can't really get excited about Ricky again. He burned us pretty good that one year after he had that near 2,000 yard season. I actually like him and think he's a genuinely good guy, but I don't think any Dolphin fan will invest much hope in him. Really, anything that he does will just kinda be a bonus. I'll check out your board when I get a chance Jason... I love predictions. We'll have to get a few going here also... I know Bella likes that stuff too. I'm also going to make an NFL thread here so we have a place to talk about football besides the Favre thread lol ;D

I'm pretty stoked about his comeback. I'm wondering how well he'll do. Seeing as he hasn't played for a few years. And it'd be GREAT to have you at HMFC

He should've retired on a high note in Green Bay. Making it to the NFC Championship when nobody expected Green Bay to do it.

I agree... but now he has a chance to go far in the playoffs if he goes to Minnesota, but only because that team is dangerous in the first place. Now he'll get the credit if they do.

Oh, Brett. I hope for the best, but I'll bet Packers fans everywhere are heart broken.
