If you were in charge of your teams draft who would you pick in the top 3 rounds.I think [[Ndamukong Suh]] is worth trading a 1st and 2nd for if he was to slip to pick number 3. He is a lock to be in the Pro Bowl for years in my opinion... that being said it ain't happening so on to my draft. Miami Dolphins1st round pick 12[[C.J. Spiller]], rb, Clemson - of course - Why? Because as good as Ronnie Brown is he can't finish a season. Ricky Williams is playing one more year. But the most important reason to take Spiller is that Miami hasn't had a scoring threat since Marino retired and at QB that really doesn't count either. Touchdowns are what wins football games and there is not a Dolphin fan on this Earth that is not sick and tired of us being in every game every year... we need a KO punch. There is not a wide out in this draft that can do what C.J. does and to top it all off he is as high character as they come. If for some reason Spiller is gone [[Rolando McClain]], ILB, Alabama - another perennial PBer in the making. Who I don't want - [[Dez Bryant]] - I will support him if they take him but he scares me as a first rounder and he won't be there in the second. Second Round Pick 43[[Demaryius Thomas]], WR, Georgia Tech - And then I'd pray for him to be anywhere near as good as Calvin Johnson. If Thomas is gone (but I think he'll be there) [[Ricky Sapp]], LB, Clemson - not just being a Clemson homer, this dude can play. [[Mardy Gilyard]], WR, Cincinnati - Yeah, we gotta have a wide out from somewhere besides the the third round and later. Third Round Pick 73[[Cam Thomas]], DT, North Carolina - If Cam is still around in the late 2nd or early 3rd then I use this pick and the 4th or 5th to move up and take him. If I still haven't got my wide out then I would think about [[Jordan Shipley]] from Texas, especially if I got Spiller already and didn't need the speed as badly. But most likely here I'd have to take the best FS left on the board since we cut Gibril Wilson.

I don't really have a particular order. But I don't suspect that Denver will even get a chance to draft any of these guys. And even if one or two are still available, they'll probably pick another running back we don't need. Ndamukong Suh/Russell Okung I wouldn't mind getting either of these guys. But if I were forced to pick, I would take Suh!! Eric Berry - A Free Safety machine! Stick this guy next to Brian Dawkins and tell me we don't have one of the best Safety duos in the NFL! Jacoby Ford - This is the one guy that probably won't be drafted in the first round, but I'd love to have him and Eddie Royal returning kicks together. ;D

I saw them show Rich running against everyone. I was lmao! Especially when they were giving him head starts and stuff.
Jacoby Ford is a missile. I think Denver might draft Dez Bryant or Rolando McClain, just my guess. I think McClain will be a great player, but like I said Dez scares me some for the price of a one.

It was so funny watching them compare Eisen to the other runners. I laughed so hard when one of the announcers said, "Now, how about this? You and Cody get a five yard start and here cooommmmmmes.... Jacoby Ford". Hahaha!!!!

Who knew you could get a classic moment in sports from the ultimately boring NFL combine ;D
Mike Mayock is teasing me. They just did the Fins state of the franchise on NFL network and he said he thinks they might take Spiller.

That'd make your draft year with that pick, alone, I bet. I just hope Denver picks somebody great. I swear, though, since Jacksonville won that coin toss I bet they'll take someone amazing and just irritate the crap outta me.

I keep meaning to ask what you thought about getting Brady Quinn. I always kinda liked him and hoped he would do good, but he hasn't shown a whole lot yet.

It's hard to be great in Cleveland, I'll give him that. I'm certain Kyle Orton will win the starting job, but I hated seeing Peyton Hillis go. There are pros and cons to the whole deal and I'm just glad we have a decent backup quarterback if Orton gets injured.

I really liked Hillis, but if they weren't going to use him I guess it's a good trade.

They made great use of him in 2008. He's the main reason we even stayed in playoff contention.

Darn, darn, darn. As big of a head case Marshall was, I really did love having him on Denver's side. Definitely the offensive force for us since we drafted him. Congratulations, by the way, MIB. You got a massive boost in your defense by getting Mike Nolan and another massive boost on offense by getting Marshall. Didn't even need to give up the 1st round pick, either. You got a steal!
Denver better draft some fantastic players this draft, then. I suspect they'll be aiming for Dez Bryant if he's still available.

I'm trying to make myself get excited over Marshall. The trade I think was OK for the 2 second round picks, but I'm dreading the possible headaches. One time trouble is one thing but this guy has been in trouble since he was in college - beating on his girls and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He seems like a friendly dude when he's thinking straight. I hope it's all behind him. At least we don't have to deal with Porter anymore.
I think you are right about Dez Bryant. It's a possibility for you guys. I've been thinking the Broncos might get him when they traded Marshall... I just never dreamed it would be after they sent him to Miami. I'd still bet heavier on Denver getting McClain from Bama since they just got rid of one diva recieva... and freakin' Eddie Royal is the man anyways. We ain't got nobody to make Marshall look as good as Eddie did.

I'm glad we still have Royal, for sure. But I don't think he's enough to fill the wide receiver aspect. We need someone big. The guy is only 5'10, I believe!
Marshall's biggest problem with Denver was the money. When he was originally signed, he wasn't signed for a hell of a lot of money (Compared to other players, at least). Now he's the highest paid receiver in history. I think he'll be happy with Miami and stay out of trouble. ;D

I hope you are right about the money thing since he now makes up most of the Fin's payroll ;D
Well, the draft is almost here and I'm excited to see where everybody goes. I'll be happy if Spiller and Tebow don't go to the Jets or Patriots as they are my 2 favorite players in this draft. I'm not a Gator fan by any means, but I absolutely love Tebow as a player and person. His attitude reminds me a lot of myself and I think he is so determined and stable that he will be a good player eventually if not right away.... I'd love to see Denver pick him up in the 2nd.
Marii and me are headed off to see Bon Jovi in Charlotte in a little while so thank goodness for my DVR. I'll probably be up all night after we get home watching the draft.

Ohhhhhh yes. I'll definitely be watching the draft. Do you follow twitter on your phone? I never post twitters or tweets or twats or whatever you wanna call them. But I follow the Broncos and they always update me as soon as something happens. I'm sure NFL will be updating it with the draft. Unless you want to watch it after the concert without spoilers, I would recommend following them (though you're probably long gone on your way to the concert ).
