Finally, MJ has come back to Carolina! After all the crap we had to deal with during the Hornets saga, we've at last got an owner who cares about nothing but winning. I don't care if he makes mistakes and I won't trash him if they have losing seasons because nobody will ever say that he doesn't care about the team. He'll do what he thinks will win games and he'll be involved with the whole deal. I am now officially a Bobcats fan... (don't worry Spurs, I'm still here for you as long as you keep Duncan).

That is one of the saddest, goofiest vomit-looking jackets I've ever seen. ;D
I'm glad to see Jordan still involved with the NBA. I'm pretty sure John Elway is now an announcer for the Broncos. I'm not positive, though. But it's good to see legends like Jordan, Elway and Marino still involved with their sport.

It looks like he hunted down a couch at a senior's home and skinned it for that jacket I'm thinking of catching a game or two before the season ends. Bobcat's tickets are cheap - about 8 to 10 bucks each. You can get good mid level center ones for around 20 each.

I follow the NBA pretty closely, now. Usually, if I'm not busy, I'll watch the games that are on TV. Whether or not it's the Nuggets. I ALWAYS root against the Lakers. I was really beginning to wonder how much it would cost to go to a game. Of course, being a Nuggets fan, I'd have to go see them play one of the many, many California teams. The seasons almost over, and I'll probably end up buying tickets to a game next season.

I of course am just guessing, but I bet it would be cheaper to catch the Nuggets vs Clippers than to see a Laker game.
I don't know if I'll get to see a game this year or not seeing as I'm trying to save for the shuttle trip in May. (My whole family is wanting to go back with me now that they saw the pictures). But I'm definitely going to see some games next year now that Mike bought the team.

I looked up Clippers games and the best seats are about 125 dollars. Which, actually, isn't too bad at all. Their cheapest are 10 bucks. Denver fans of every kind are hated all over California. It makes it that much sweeter when we win. ;D The Bobcats are expected to be a pretty big force next season. And with the greatest basketball player owning the team, it's hard not to expect great things.

They've been kicking some butt this year. It looks like they might actually make the Playoffs.
On another note, our teams (Nuggets and Spurs) might meet in the 1st round this year. I'm hoping the Spurs keep rolling and move up a spot though.

Mavericks and Nuggets are practically tied at 2nd and 3rd. I'll be happy as long as the Lakers get blown out in round 1. Not a big Boston fan, either, but I despise every Boston and most California teams. (Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox and Celtics for Boston. Chargers and Lakers for California). The Bobcats making the playoffs is pretty much a sure thing. They've got a VERY tough first round opponent though. No matter who it may be (Cavaliers, Magic, Celtics). I'ld love to see them go far, too, though.
The only disappointments that could come out of this year's playoff round is Denver being eliminated, or Boston/L.A winning it.

The Lakers are cocky right now, I hope it costs them. I like Garnett, Allen and Pierce, but I feel about the same about Boston teams... I'm sick of them all. And I realize he's never even won a title yet, but I'm already sick of Lebron... with all the talk of him going to NY while he's playing for Cleveland.
Charlotte probably won't get past the first round this year, but it's definitely a step forward.
My hopes for the champ this year are in this order
Spurs - I'd love to see Duncan and company get one more
Magic - Dwight Howard is awesome and Vince Carter is one my all time favorites (Tarheel ;D)
Nuggets - I'm a Birdman Fan, I'll admit it, not to mention they've got Lawson who I'd love to see get more time in the playoffs

Nuggets just blew an easy game. :/ I don't understand. They're 2-1 against the Lakers, 2-0 against the Magic, 2-0 against the Cavs, 2-0 against the Celtics, 2/3-1 against the Mavericks. They can't seem to beat any of the bad teams, but have a field day against the good teams. Makes me REALLY excited for the playoffs. I fear the New Jersey Nets.

Nets are on a roll, the beat the Spurs too. And they got the Bobcats earlier - I think twice. I guess it would be good for us not to see the Nets anymore ;D
The Spurs did whack the Lakers pretty good yesterday, in L.A. too.

I think L.A is taking it easy, now. They clinched the #1 seed the game prior and I'm sure they're resting their starters. Hopefully I'm wrong and they got blown out on their best day. ;D
There is a 4 way tie for the second seed right now.
Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and Utah. 5 games left. I'm nervous, but with the schedule, Denver should make the 3 seed at worst.

I'm lovin' basketball right now. UNC champs last year and then Duke makes an improbable run this year. I'm a Tarheel fan first but I'm not one of those people who hate Duke and everyone else Carolina plays. I love it when the ACC teams do well.
I got into it with a lady on Facebook about the best basketball conference. She tried to make a weak case for the Big East. There had a couple more ranked teams at the time and I just told her to wait until the end of the season and see what those rankings meant. I didn't hear from her when Duke destroyed West Virginia lol...
The SEC may have it in football, but if you look at the out of conference records, the titles and tournament wins it is not much of a contest for the ACC in basketball. And everyone is saying that this year was a down year for them... and we still got a National Championship.
I had to brag a bit... I don't get to much with my Dolphins lately ;D

It always feels good to be right, doesn't it. ;D
I'm pretty much the same way with the NBA as you are with college sports. My Broncos aren't doing so well, so I get to watch the Nuggets kick some butt. Hopefully they maintain the spot they're at and win the 2 seed. I don't see the Lakers making it to the finals this year. Hot and cold isn't the way to win a championship. Especiallyy when the Western Conference has so many great teams. There's a possibility that all 8 western teams will win 50 before the end of the season. I want Denver to win it all, but I don't see anyone getting passed Cleveland.

Cleveland looks tough. (now there's a statement that let's you know immediately that we are not talking about football)
And yeah it's good to be right about sports every once in awhile. I can usually always lean on the ACC.
I'm geared up for the NBA postseason now too, but I'm a bit worried that there are too many teams that I don't want to see win it all.
